Tarah & Kyle : Grand Lake

One of the most anticipated weddings of the season with the ceremony at Trinity Church of the Pines and the reception at the bride's parent's house lakeside on Grand Lake. It almost reminded me of a block party because not only did the bride's parents live there, but right next door was the groom's grandparents house and two houses further was the bride's grandparents house. Their story is amazing - that he used to spend summers at his grandparents house as she would at her parent's lake home - and as love would have it, they were meant for each other!

The parents did such an amazing job in preparation of the wedding. Not only did they create an entire floor out of sand and wood for the reception area, but they also built a dance floor out of the boat dock! Yes - they were dancing over the water!!!!!! : ) These two had everything any girl would want at her wedding - And if you didn't think this wedding was already perfect enough... they rode off together into the night on a boat with lit-up purple balloons cascading from the front of the boat. OMG!

Thanks to Stone Creek Catering for creating such a stunning event right on the lake with some of the most delicious food I've ever tasted -- and for Pick Me Flowers for the beautiful colors and the day-of coordination.

Jessica & Alex : Devil's Thumb Ranch

What more could you ask for??? Devil's Thumb Ranch is absolutely stunning - not to mention they held the 3rd wedding on the ceremony site for this season (thanks to all the rainy days in June & July). Am-az-ing food from the staff at Devil's Thumb (doesn't it make you hungry just looking at it?) The bride & groom even brought in jars of BBQ sauce from the business that they own for gifts for each guest - yummy! To top it all off, the Chris King band played some great country music to complete the day.

Susie & Steve : Piney River Ranch, Vail

This was one of the weddings over 4th of July weekend - what a great location! It's about 11 miles (but an hour drive) just north of Vail. It was a bumpy-bumpy-bumpy road but well worth the drive for the spectacular views. And with pink shoes for the bride -- what more could you ask for???
