Susie & Steve : Piney River Ranch, Vail

This was one of the weddings over 4th of July weekend - what a great location! It's about 11 miles (but an hour drive) just north of Vail. It was a bumpy-bumpy-bumpy road but well worth the drive for the spectacular views. And with pink shoes for the bride -- what more could you ask for???

Stephanie & Jaben : Granby

OK - so not a 'real' destination wedding but they pulled it off as one! Complete with tiki torches, palm trees, a bon fire, exotic flowers & Mai Tai's (yummy!). Thanks to Stone Creek Catering for a delicious Hawaiian meal! We did a group photo which is becoming more and more popular. It usually takes place right after the ceremony (which is a great transition between ceremony & cocktail hour) but for this wedding, we did it later on in the evening since it was family only during the ceremony.

Kaitlyn & Nick : Mary Jane Grill

Here is a true local wedding - what a fun, life-loving couple and I am so happy that I was able to share in their special day! Their ceremony and reception were held at the base of the Mary Jane ski resort - what a gorgeous venue!! Kaitlyn did a great job picking out the girls dresses with two different shades of blue - very unique and very pretty. The guys were a ton a fun, complete with cigars and all. Thanks to Kara & Rami at Pick Me Flowers for the beautiful bouquets & arrangments. The mix of flowers worked PERFECT for a mountain wedding.
