Cheryl & Nathan : Devils Thumb Ranch

Here's to winter weddings!! Cheryl & Nathan had their ceremony and reception in the Timberhouse at Devil's Thumb Ranch. It was an intimate wedding and a very fun group! We spent about an hour (during the cocktail hour) taking photos around DTR - Cheryl & Nathan were GREAT! They were so much fun and up for anything! They braved the 30 degree weather and high winds to get some great shots...

My favorite photo is the "Thank You" photo, which was an idea Cheryl had from a wedding magazine... They're planning on sending them out as the Thank You cards - what a fantastic idea!!

Diana & Jay : Snow Mountain Ranch

Here's the FIRST wedding of the season - and how beautiful!! This was at Snow Mountain Ranch (YMCA of the Rockies) in January. Diana & Jay were so relaxed and so photogenic that it was hard to take any bad photos of them :)

Thanks to Pick Me for the gorgeous flowers and Wildhorse Catering for doing such a fabulous job decorating the Legget Room (and providing the ShotSki - which was a HUGE success!).

Heidi & Dan : Grand Lake

Here is one of my favorite weddings from 2008... The bride and groom were from New Zealand and had quite an experience trying to get everything settled before they came out here. Luckily, they found Carey with Stone Creek Catering, who did a fantastic job and helped with booking everything!

This was one of my favorite couples and what a blast to work with!

Yay for Blogs!

So my good friend Kara at Pick Me! just told me that I MUST get a blog... so literally 10 minutes after she told me - I went to blogspot.com and here it is! It's the best way to get your personality and work across to you - so here we go, I hope you enjoy!!

I'm in the process of creating a new website for wedding photography, so you'll notice a nice change in the layout and design. It should be posted within a week or so. There's a ton of new photos from the 2008 season with some great slideshows created by Show It Web (fantastic program!).
